Through hard work, grit, and integrity, what started with one acre and a borrowed tractor, has grown into a sophisticated, sustainable farming operation, with over 3,000 acres and a 175,000 square foot state-of-the-art packing and cooling facility.
What hasn’t changed over the years for third generation farmers Justin and Jared Corbett, are our commitments to our customers and our focus on growing the finest peppers, squash, other vegetables, and Satsuma oranges possible.
Corbett Brothers Farms is one of the top growers of green bell peppers and other vegetables on the East Coast. Vertically integrated, we control the entire process from seed to delivery.
Our farms, spread across two states and five counties, have perfect soil and growing conditions to consistently provide our customers with a high volume of quality product. Our climate-controlled packing and cooling facility in Lake Park, GA uses some of the most advanced electronic sizing and packing equipment available.
Ensuring smooth logistics and transportation systems is at the forefront of our day-to-day operations so drivers can get back on the road with minimum downtime, and products get to your docks when you expect it.
At Corbett Brothers Farms, we are committed to protecting and improving our community through sustainable practices. We have incorporated the following practices into our operations:
- Advanced drip irrigation
- Plastic mulch
- Crop rotation
- Packing material recycling
- Preservation of natural habitats
We are clear and honest with our customers, and consistently deliver on our promises. Every time. Even with all our experience, systems, and technology, we’re still reliant on nature to help produce our crops, and well, sometimes she just doesn’t play nice. Our large scale helps us weather the storms better than most growers, and on those rare occasions when we are not able to fulfill 100% of all orders, we promise to be honest, forthright, and timely with our communications. In other words, we’ll let you know what’s going on as soon as we know, so you have time to adjust your planning.
